1. Spatial and temporal modelling of zoonotic mosquito-borne diseases
I combine serological data and case reporting data with models accounting for the spatial and temporal heterogeneity of mosquito-borne diseases. I have worked on West Nile virus and Rift Valley Fever virus, at multiple scales, in European and island settings.

2. Eco-epidemiology of zoonotic tick-borne diseases
Zoonotic tick-borne diseases, such as Lyme disease, are characterized by the high complexity of their eco-epidemiological cycle, involving multiple hosts with various levels of competence and multiple tick life stages. I address this issue using quantitative modelling frameworks applied to data collected in North America.

3. Surveillance and modelling for outbreak response
Infectious disease outbreaks with pandemic potential require adequate monitoring measures and timely quantitative analyses to inform public health policies. I have worked on SARS-CoV-2 and influenza in France, and on a cruise ship Andes virus outbreak.

4. Modelling the spread of antibiotic resistance in farm animals
Antibiotic resistance in bacteria is a major public health threat, and transmission of resistant strains is possible between human and animal (including livestock) populations. During my PhD, I modelled the spread of antibiotic resistant bacteria in farm animals at multiple scales in France and in Vietnam, focusing particularly on methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus, on ESBL-producing Escherichia coli and on colistin resistance in E. coli.
